Admission Requirements
IELTS Academic 6.5, 6.0 in each band. Duolingo English Test 120, 100 in each subscore. TOEFL iBT (Before January 2026) 90, 21 in each section. TOEFL iBT (After January 2026) 4.5, 4.0 in each section.
A-Level: Grade C in two laboratory-science subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics/Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Agricultural Science or Computer Science. IB: SL Grade 5 Mathematics plus HL Grade 5 in two of the same subject list. (Leaving Certificate requires H6/O4 Mathematics plus H4 in two of the same list; GCSE requires Grade B/6 Mathematics.) Band B (Standard Entry) English requirement applies. Students specialise into Chemistry, Chemistry with Biosciences, Chemistry with Molecular Modelling, Medicinal Chemistry or Nanoscience from second year -- entry is only ever to TR061 Chemical Sciences.
