Applicants need a school-leaving certificate recognised in Germany as a higher-education entrance qualification (Abitur, or an equivalent qualification from the applicant's home country). Applicants with citizenship and a school-leaving certificate from a non-EU country must submit a preliminary examination documentation (VPD) from uni-assist, which determines whether the qualification is sufficient for direct admission to LUH or whether further steps -- such as passing the assessment test (Feststellungsprufung) at a Studienkolleg foundation course -- are required first.
