Chemistry

DSH (Deutsche Sprachpruefung fuer den Hochschulzugang) 2.

General German university entrance qualification (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung, HZB) required, typically the Abitur (allgemeine Hochschulreife) or fachgebundene Hochschulreife. Applicants without either may still be admitted after passing UDE's own subject-specific aptitude examination (a written and an oral test on chemistry, mathematics and physics at upper-secondary level). Applicants whose qualification is not equivalent to the Abitur may alternatively need to complete a Studienkolleg foundation year -- UDE does not itself operate a Studienkolleg, so this must be completed elsewhere in Germany.
