For international applicants, the window for a winter-semester (October) start is 1 June – 15 July; for a summer-semester (April) start it is 1 December – 15 January. EU citizens applying to a bachelor's programme with free (unrestricted) admission get a longer window: 1 June – 15 October for the winter semester and 1 December – 1 April for the summer semester — so the effective deadline is materially earlier for non-EU applicants. Documents are uploaded as a single PDF via the online application form; TU Braunschweig asks that nothing be sent by post. Acceptance letters for unrestricted bachelor's courses are generally sent 4 to 6 weeks after the deadline.

Academic Requirement
Open admission (zulassungsfrei). no numerus clausus. A higher education entrance qualification sufficient for university study in the applicant's home country is required; in some cases TU Braunschweig requires prior study at an accredited university at home, or completion of a German Studienkolleg foundation course.
