British-patterned (GCE) applicants need the General Certificate of Education with at least two subjects at A Level and three at GCSE/IGCSE/O Level, and for the Faculty of Science an equivalent minimum average of B (80%) across English First Language Literature, Mathematics, one of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science or Physics, and a fourth academic course, with no grade below D (60%). UM publishes a separate requirement table for each country and curriculum on this page; where more applicants qualify than there are places, higher averages than the published minimum are needed.
