Applied Geosciences – Applied Mineralogy and Crystallography (AMC)

One of five specialisations within the M.Sc. Applied Geosciences programme (capacity 40 students across all specialisations). AMC has its own admission profile, alternative to the general geosciences profile that covers all specialisations: a Bachelor of Science or Engineering with at least 180 ECTS, including at least 4 ECTS from crystallography (an 'Introduction to Crystallography' module is mandatory), at least 30 ECTS from chemistry and/or physics, and at least 40 ECTS from analytical/material-characterization courses — open to graduates with a materials-science or chemical-physical background (materials science, chemistry, materials engineering, physics), not only geoscience graduates.
