As a 'consecutive' Master's (Leuphana's own term), applicants need a Bachelor's degree completed to at least 81% of the total required workload (or the full degree), in a discipline the university judges sufficiently related -- specifically, at least 60 ECTS credits in modules from Chemical Process Engineering, Chemistry (or a sub-discipline such as Agricultural, Environmental, Food, Industrial, Polymer or Textile Chemistry), Chemical Engineering, Geology, Materials Science, Pharmacy, Sustainability/Environmental Sciences (with a chosen science focus), or Teacher Education for Chemistry. No possibility exists to make up missing credit points during the Master's itself -- they must already be present at the time of application. This is a restricted-admission programme with only 25 study places.
