Requires a three-year Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering or Natural Sciences (or equivalent qualification) worth 210 ECTS -- a gateway route is possible for applicants with only 180 ECTS, who make up the missing 30 ECTS at a partner university or via an internship in the third semester (with the thesis then falling in a fourth semester). The final grade should be well above average, around 2.5 or better on the German grading system.
